EMG Facility Services Pty Ltd (EMGFS) trading as Queensland Facility Services (QFS), has been in operation since 2005,  J & C Cleaning Service (J&C), commenced in 1984 and My Pathway Facility Services have been providing cleaning, security, hygiene, pest control, landscaping, waste and other facility services. It has grown to include approximately 384 staff and services over 500 commercial and retail sites.


EMGFS is part of My Pathway, a family-owned group of companies that delivers community and economic development services across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory and Tasmania.


QFS is part of My Pathway, a social and economic development organisation providing employment, training, labour hire, enterprise development, project and facilities management services. Based in Cairns, My Pathway have been operating in regional and remote locations across Australia for more than a decade aiming to build stronger communities. Grown from humble beginnings as a small family-run business, My Pathway employs around 1,000 staff, supports thousands of job seekers and facilitates hundreds of community programs.

Chief Operating Officer Mr Dale Berderow, is responsible for EMGFS’ operations and is also a member of My Pathway’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT).


EMGFS extends as far north as Port Douglas, south to the Gold Coast/Ballina, out to Moree and as far west as Longreach and Mt Isa. Our 500 sites are managed by an experienced operational team, alongside our preferred partners.


Customer Satisfaction is the real key focus for EMGFS.  All of our actions in organisational development, staff recruitment & motivation, management of human resources with a strong focus on staff safety, and the design and implementation of our operational procedures reflect and support this focus.

EMGFS have implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS). This system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for Quality, ISO 4801:2001 and OHSAS 18001:2007 for Safety and ISO 14001:2015 for Environment.

Our qualified Internal Auditors actively seek feedback on a regular basis from our customers’ representatives.  The objective is to further put into practice a proactive approach in ensuring customer satisfaction is continuously maintained.
